Allison Ward (b. 1993) is an interdisciplinary artist and classically trained vocalist from Oklahoma whose work encompasses curation, conceptual sculpture making, music composition, video work, and performance art. Her work has been shown at institutions such as The Philbrook Museum of Art, The Oklahoma City Museum of Art, and on the cover of Art Focus Magazine. She has toured the United States and played her experimental compositions internationally. In addition to being a freelance curator, Allison is the co-founder of the non-profit Art House Tulsa and was its acting Executive Director from 2019 to mid 2025. Art House Tulsa is an organization which puts on large scale community art shows and provides opportunities to regional artists. Allison is a 2027 MFA candidate and employee at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, studying and working in their Art & Technology / Sound Practices graduate program. Allison is currently based in Chicago.

Allison Ward's artistic work encompasses a diverse range of mediums, including curation, conceptual sculpture making, music composition, video work, and performance art. Her fascination lies in crafting multi-sensory experiences that engage various senses simultaneously, invoking memories through sight, sound, and touch. Over the past year, she has curated numerous shows by queer and female artists. She has also shown her large-scale floral/sound sculptures and large-scale installation works in group exhibitions and solo gallery shows. In addition to this, she has composed multiple ambient scores with video pairings and performed live renditions of her compositions alongside immersive performance art pieces.

Beyond this engaging work, Allison delves into the exploration of emotion, plunging into themes of generational trauma, religious trauma, the subjugation of women within religion and society as a whole, and clinical/mental diagnosis. She has witnessed firsthand the transformative impact her work can have on someone's perception of themselves and their life experiences. Through her art, she provides a visceral connection, offering those in need a space to relate to her work on a profound level. Razorcake Magazine has described Allison's work as "dreamy, harsh, and cutting".

Allison is currently an MFA candidate at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in their Art & Technology / Sound Practices program.
